Makerspace Nanaimo – Grand Opening!
We are happy to announce Makerspace Nanaimo will be having a grand opening October 4th from 12:00 – 3:00 PM. It has been nearly 6 months since volunteers began bringing the first pieces of equipment into the space and it is now time to showcase this great resource to the community.
Members, friends, and guests are invited to tour the facility, enjoy complimentary food, and check out various displays and demonstrations. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00 PM as well as hourly draws for memberships, and a number of guest speakers.
