New Additions This Week

SparkFun Tinker Kit

The SparkFun Tinker Kit (STK) is a great way to get started with programming and hardware interaction with the Arduino programming language. This latest version of the STK adds in the Qwiic functionality. Each SparkFun Tinker Kit includes everything you need to complete 11 circuits that will teach you how to blink an LED, read sensors, drive servos, and more. You don’t need any previous programming or electronics experience to use this kit.

8 Ohm 2W Speaker

Most basic speakers are round – but not this one! It measures 40 x 20mm x 6mm and is designed to fit into rectangular enclosures. The speaker is rated to 2 Watts and has an 8 ohm impedance. Wires will need to be soldered to the easily accessible pads on the back of the speaker. To keep it in place, it also has mounting holes on each corner.

Adafruit PCF8523 RTC Assembled Breakout Board

This is a simple little real time clock (RTC) breakout board based on the PCF8523 chipset. The breakout allows your microcontroller project to keep track of time even if it is reprogrammed, or if the power is lost. It is perfect for datalogging, clock-building, time stamping, timers and alarms, etc. This new version of the board now includes STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors making this easier than ever to use!

2×40 Female Header

This breadboard pitch 0.100″ 40 pin female header has 80 total connection points in a 2 x 40 pin configuration. The headers mate with our breadboard pitch male connectors and are great for making structural multi-pin removable connections between boards.

12038 Brushless Cooling Fan – 12V

Sometimes you just need to move a lot of air! This 12V Brushless DC Cooling fan is well suited to the job. It measures 120mm x 120mm and 38mm thick. The fan itself is 7 blades and operates very quietly considering how much air it is moving. To connect it up, it has 300mm of cable with a standard JST-XH connector on the end. Mounting holes are a standard 105.5mm x 105.5mm center to center.
