This simple breakout board is designed to help prototype and experiment with 5050 sized LEDs. These include the WS2812, APA102, and many others. The board is breadboard compatible and easy to work with. Simply solder your LED and solder a couple headers and you are good to go!

Is the chip you are looking to prototype with only available in a SMD pinout? This 5050 LED breakout allows for any single 5050 LED chip to be used on a solderless breadboard while taking up the minimum amount of breadboard space possible. This board is compatible with a variety of 5050 LEDs including the APA102 (Dotstar), WS2812 (NeoPixel), SK6812, and numerous conventional LEDs. Just solder your chip to the board and solder on some headers and you are good to go!
