This 5V 3A step-down voltage regulator is a compact DC-DC buck converter designed to efficiently reduce a higher input voltage (7-22VDC) down to a stable 5V output, with a maximum output current of 3 amps. It’s intended to be used in automotive and DIY electronics projects to power 5V devices like microcontrollers, USB-powered gear, or sensors from higher voltage sources such as car batteries and other 12V systems.
