The ACS758LCB is a massive Hall-effect current sensor and is capable of monitoring AC and DC current up to 50A while keeping your monitoring circuit electrically isolated from the load. This sensor features a simple proportional analog output relative to the load and can monitor bi-directional current flow. The sensor output is centered at 1/2 VCC (2.5VDC when supplied with 5VDC). With positive current flow the output rises towards VCC, while negative current pushes it closer to 0V. These are perfect for monitoring battery current, load sensing, power consumption logging, and overcurrent detection for systems under 50A maximum.
