Have you ever wanted to know how much power your project is consuming? This handy breakout board of the INA219 current sensing chip can tell you just that! The INA219 will handle voltages of up to 26V and a maximum current flow of up to ±3.2A. Simply put this in line with the power supply to your project and the breakout board will report bidirectional current flow and the line voltage over I2C. Since it is bidirectional, you can use it to monitor charge and discharge in a system – great for solar powered projects!
