Description
This infrared sensor is tuned to 38KHz – perfect for receiving commands from TV remotes and most other infrared based remote controls. The sensor runs on 2.5 – 5.5VDC so it works great with any microcontroller or single board computer with a digital input!
The sensor does not do any of the decoding, it simply translates the infrared signal to an electronic signal for your microcontroller or single board computer to decode.
