Stepper motors are ideal for positioning – but how do you translate the rotation of the output shaft to a linear movement? A lead screw! These incredibly tiny stepper motors have an integrated lead screw with a M2 thread – making them ideal for fine linear positioning. They are easy to mount with their bracket and can be made to move small things back and forth without too much trouble.
The motors are designed for 5VDC and measure 51.2 x 13.2 x 8.4mm. Pins 1 and 3 are coil 1 , pins 2 and 4 are coil 2. We recommend powering them with a 5V compatible stepper driver such as the TB6612 found on the Adafruit Motor Shield, Motor HAT, and TB6612 Breakout Board.
