With the advent of smaller electronic components used in our modern devices came new LEDs at increasingly smaller sizes. The trouble with these tiny LEDs was that they were meant to mount direct to a circuit board and were incredibly hard to handle.

These tiny 0805 surface mount LEDs are pre-wired with two very fine wires – meaning these can be easily wired to any model boat, train, plane, car, spaceship or whatever else you may want to add tiny lights to. As with all LEDs, a current limiting resistor is required.
