The Raspberry Pi 3A+ is far from new, but with current market conditions driving the more recent Raspberry Pi SBCs prices higher than ever, we feel this slightly older board makes a lot more sense. Featuring a Quad-Core processor and 512MB of LPDDR2 RAM, the Pi 3A+ is a small form factor Single Board Computer (SBC) that is more performant than the Pi Zero 2W, and large enough to fit standard Raspberry Pi HATs. With the 3A+’s higher 1.4GHz processor clock speed, integrated dual band WIFI, and Bluetooth, this board is perfect for IoT and other embedded applications. However, if you do want to connect peripherals, it also benefits from having a standard HDMI connector, a full-sized USB A port, and both CSI and DSI connectors.
