Description

This miniature USB WiFi dongle is perfect for adding WiFi to an older Single Board Computer or Desktop Computer not equipped with WiFi. The dongle is based on the RTL8188FTV chipset, an 802.11 b/g/n capable chipset with speeds of up to 300Mbps. We recommend this for applications where the WiFi router is not too far away – antennas of this size can be a little limiting when walls and other obstacles are in the way. It has an effective distance of 8 meters (approx. 24 feet), though this can vary depending on many environmental variables. The dongle is very low profile and measures 15 x 6 x 20mm overall, with the protruding dimensions closer to 15 x 6 x 10mm.
