Raspberry Pi Camera Workshop

We have another Raspberry Pi Workshop coming up this Saturday December 9th! This workshop will focus on the Raspberry Pi Camera. We will look at some examples of projects that can be built using the camera, go over how to connect and enable the camera module on the Raspberry Pi and Pi Zero, assemble a camera mount using servos, look at how to control the camera mount, and talk about the different software available for the camera.

This workshop is hosted by our favourite Raspberry Pi expert – Tim Rowledge – at BC Robotics. The program will run from 12:00PM to 2:00PM and costs $20.00 plus applicable taxes. Seating for this workshop is limited – contact us today to reserve your spot!

If you would like the ‘hands on experience’ you will need:

[list type=”check”]

  • A working Pi with power supply, microSD Card, USB Keyboard and Mouse
  • A Pi Camera module (either Standard or NoIR)
  • Some kind of mount for the camera, and one or two small servos if you want a tilt/swivel mount.

If you have your own parts, bring them in; if not, we stock everything you’ll need.
