Weight sensors have all sorts of applications! Typically weight measurements are done with load cells (also known as strain gauges). These are made of a flexible foil material whose resistance changes as it is deformed. This change can be measured, and therefore, weight or strain on the bar can be measured. Typically an amplifier is required with a load cell, so be sure to have a look at the hookup guides!
