Description
When working with sensitive components it is always a good idea to have some form of ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protection. Static build up on you or your clothing can discharge onto electronic components when first making contact with them, sometimes permanently damaging them. “Grounding” yourself with an anti-static wrist band is a great way to prevent the discharge from occurring through sensitive components while they are being handled.
This anti static wrist band is comfortable and clips to a 6’ cable. The cable is intended to be attached to an earth ground by way of the banana plug or included alligator clip. This ensures any static charge is discharged in a safe way.
