Storing information on a removable card can be very useful with data logging projects. This breakout board makes integrating a microSD card into your project as easy as possible. Built in 3V level shifting makes this board is both 5V and 3.3V logic level compatible – ideal for just about every microcontroller and single board computer out there. The microSD breakout includes breadboard compatible headers, 4 mounting holes for more permanent applications, and activity LEDs to let you know what is going on. FAT and FAT32 formatted microSD cards can both be used with this breakout.

Software for this breakout is quite straight forward, in addition to a great Adafruit Tutorial, this board is compatible with the Arduino SD library.
