This Adafruit mini LiPo battery charger is probably the smallest you will find! The board is easy to use, simply plug the board into a free USB slot and plug any of our LiPo batteries into the JST connector. The battery will be charged at 100mA (this can be changed to 500mA for larger batteries by soldering the jumper on the back). A red LED will indicate the battery is charging; a green LED will indicate the charge has completed.

Charging is performed in three stages: first a preconditioning charge, then a constant-current fast charge and finally a constant-voltage trickle charge to keep the battery topped-up.

Please Note: The MicroLipo charger can get quite warm during charging. Grab it by the edges of the board and unplug then let cool before removing the battery – take care not to touch the components during charging!
